I Want to Go Home 1989
Agnes played the role of a governess
STORYLINE
Joey Wellman, a cantankerous American cartoonist, accepts an invitation to come to an exhibition in Paris, because his estranged daughter Elsie is a student there. He arrives with his girlfriend Lena, and very soon wants to go home as the culture shock is too much for him. Elsie puts off meeting him because she is busy trying to find Professor Christian Gauthier, in order to get him to read her thesis on Flaubert. However Gauthier is enamored with American culture, and invites Joey and some other Americans to his mother's house for the weekend. Elsie arrives at the gathering in time for the masquerade party and to see her father beginning to appreciate French culture.—Will Gilbert

GEORGE AND MARGARET 1992
The Review Translation
... We go to the Bouffes Parisians to find Danièle Darrieux, marvellous with scintillating grace, elegance, charm. Ah! what wouldn't we give for one of those irresistible smiles. And she smiles a lot, she twirls, she is lovely, and we ask nothing more than to see her play this role of mother with her head slightly in the clouds. In front of her, it's a fun Jacques Francois who gives her the answer in a style of role that he seems to adore: an elegant gentleman a little disillusioned, but always has very noble intentions. Alongside them, the blonde Inger Ekbom, Geoffroy Thiebaut, Pierre-Arnaud Juin and a truly remarquable and young actress, that has a lot of charm, a great personality, a beautiful presence on stage and a great sense of humour. Her name is Agnes Seelinger. We’ll talk more about her!

Agnès
On stage:
Claudia
future bride, she has the innocence of youth yet she can equally invoke the strength, cruelty or perversity. Her head in the clouds, she is ready to go with the first comer, if he promises her the happiness she never knew as a child…
Her day life consists of comics, American films, TV presenters and suburban trains…
Enthusiastic, fresh and available, she is the rose of this women bouquet…
Seelinger
In the city:
Sexy, cute, eternal seductive, perpetually surfing the crests of haute couture, she is a globe trotter for love…
When she comes back among us, she is the queen of the hostesses… There is none other like her for organising dinners, promoting meetings, maintaining friendship…
She has always juggled between her phones, her meetings and her business dinners…If you want to reach her, call early in the morning, the answering machine accepts 50 messages only.
ESPÈCES MENACÉES 1997-98-99
Gerard Jugnot's letter translation
Agnes Seelinger is an amazing actress.
We have worked together over 400 times in Paris at the Theatre de la Michodière and then on tour around France, in an unbridled comedy by Ray Cooney “Especes menacées” in 1989-1990.
Alongside martin Lamotte and Michele Garcia (and others) , She set down roots in an astounding way. An energetic young woman caught in a whirlwind of situations each one more delusional than the last. We successfully spent two magnificent years playing this moderne vaudeville that Michel Blanc and myself adapted.
I met her during a publicity casting. She had won the role with flying colors and so I directed her in an advertisement for the French gaming company “Le millionaire”. She excelled.
Love exiled her far from the Parisian stages, but I know that the theatrical flame has not left her and that she has continued to produce, perform and stage shows in regions far from the metropolis. Good for her!
I wish her the best and am sure that the passion for theatre will not leave her anytime soon…
